As of the spring of 2014, the Centre maintains four rowing dinghies for the use of members, a 10-foot Acorn, a 15-foot dory, a 16-foot Maine Peapod and a 14-foot Whitehall. Members take these boats out into Cowichan Bay for free.
The fleet grows every year, and should include a few small sailing dinghies in the near future.
Two restored 15-foot Snipe racing dinghies are already available for members’ use.
All members are expected to supply their own personal floatation device (PFD) and safety gear.
Any member taking out a row boat must sign the Row Boat Sign-out sheet, located in the Workshop, before heading out.
